I've watched Mei's shrimp video three times. Having it written down with the amounts is what I needed. My husband asked for it again the next night.

The warming and cooling chart is on my fridge. I'm 67 and never understood what my mother meant by "heaty" food until now.

Grace T. · San Jose, CA

We used to order Chinese twice a week. Now it's once a month and the kids like the potstickers better.

Everything is in my regular Kroger. No hunting for strange ingredients, and she tells you what to swap.

The winter soups helped me eat lighter in the evening. Calm, clear writing, just like her videos.

Lovely books. I'd like more fish recipes in a second edition, but the steamed chapter alone was worth it.

A note from Mei

I learned to cook by watching my grandmother choose food for the weather.

In her kitchen, a cold day meant ginger and a pot of soup on the stove. A hot summer meant mung beans and cucumber. Nobody called it medicine. It was just how you fed a family.

On my channel I share these habits one recipe at a time. Many of you asked for everything in one place, with exact amounts. These two books are that: the recipes I cook every week, and the simple food therapy behind them.

Questions

Straight answers before you buy.

Is this a physical book?

No. Both books are digital files you download right after payment, each in two formats. The PDF keeps the full page layout and prints well. The EPUB adjusts the text size to your screen, best for phones and e-readers like Kindle, Kobo or Apple Books.

I'm not very good with computers. Will I manage?

If you can open an email, you can open the books. The download link arrives by email, and if anything goes wrong, write to me and I'll send the files again by hand.

Will I find the ingredients?

Yes. Every recipe was tested with ingredients from a regular supermarket. When something is easier to find at an Asian grocery, I give you a common swap.

Is this medical advice?

No. Traditional Chinese food therapy is a food culture, and these books share it as everyday cooking wisdom. If you have a health condition or take medication, talk to your doctor before changing your diet.

Is there a subscription?

No. You pay once and the books are yours, including free updates to future editions.

I'm a complete beginner. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Each recipe lists the time, the equipment and every step. Start with the soups chapter: it's the easiest place to begin.

What if I lose the file?

The link stays in your email. If you can't find it, write to me and I'll resend it.

How does the refund work?

Email me within 30 days of your purchase and I refund you in full. No questions.
